19 Riding Lessons

She had an elegant way, her makeup was neat
She wore a tight fitting blouse, and boots on her feet
She had lipstick red lips, she was very direct
She was looking for something and it wasn’t respect

She took me riding, when the sun was real hot
She took me riding, and I liked it a lot
She took me riding, in her leathers and crop
She took me riding, and she gave it all she got

She had married a suit all caught up making dough
She was bored in the house with being alone
She always liked horses so she started a farm
And she was my teacher way down in the barn

She took me riding, when the sun was real hot
She took me riding, and I liked it a lot
She took me riding, in her leathers and crop
She took me riding, and she gave it all she got

You could smell the horses and the freshly made hay
When she lay me down in the middle of the day
Perhaps you could see it as part of God’s plan
‘Cause I was reborn in the guise of a man

She took me riding, when the sun was real hot
She took me riding, and I liked it a lot
She took me riding, in her leathers and crop
She took me riding, and she gave it all she got

It’s been a long time but I still feel her near
Her husky commands are the ones I still hear
She taught me much more than I understood
I was lost in her world and it felt really good

She took me riding, when the sun was real hot
She took me riding, and I liked it a lot
She took me riding, in her leathers and crop
She took me riding, and she gave it all she got

Ride with me, Ride with me, Ride with me, Won’t you Ride with me
Ride with me, Ride with me, Ride with me, Won’t you Ride with me
